Christenze bonnet
Yarn: 100 gr. Bella by Permin. (145 m by 50 g). The bonnet is worked in two strands.
Needles: 6 mm or size 10 US
Stitches: 13 stitches by 10 cm
Sizes: Small (head circumference above 58 cm) / Large (head circumference above 58 cm)
The bonnet is knitted in stockinette stitch with two strands of Bella, and all edge stitches are knitted. The work starts in the back, where a square is knitted. Afterwards, stitches are picked up on both sides of the square, and these are knitted further, until the work ends with an i-cord to frame the face. Finally, stitches are casted on and picked up at the bottom of the bonnet, and a tying band is made. Here the edge stitches are worked purlwise on the wrong side and knitwise on the right side. The tying band is finished off with an i-cord.
